The first edition of the book club was a wonderfully diverse group, bringing together authors from different intersections of identity, backgrounds, and experiences. As readers delved into the selected books, lively discussions unfolded, filled with different perspectives and insights. It truly was a memorable experience that highlighted the power of connection and the universal truth that, at the root of it, we are all just human.

Completely unrelated:

You can follow my artistic journey in designing a logo that best suited me. The logo on the first book club flyer was my first ever attempt at individual professional branding. I drew it myself and worked to find a font that closely resembled my own handwriting. I still look at it fondly even though I no longer use it.

Some of this year’s favorites!
